Disclaimer for Web Site, Blog, & Emails

1. My blog is always and forever will be updated and change with the tales of time. While some of the statements and data may be true at the time of the writing, it may not be in a year, in a week, in a month, heck it could change tomorrow. This blog is for the fun and entertaining idea of documenting and sharing of events and opinions.

2. I am human; I am a photographer; I am not a scientist; I am not a professional at statistics; I am not a professional Journalist or writer; I do not have a fancy masters degree in anything that would prove to be useful in taking a lawsuit or action against me. Trust me, not even I would take action against me, or someone like me.

3. Occasionally I try to share links that I find interesting, or entertaining, or knowledgeable. Be aware, after a blog is posted, a link on my page may change owners, or locations. I have no control over this. All I can do is be notified of the error by someone who has stumbled across the error, and then I, hopefully faster then the comic character Flash Gordon, can change it before anyone else discovers the head ache or embarrassment. Just remember I'm human, and mistakes can be made. I just ask that you tell me asap instead of letting someone else fall across my human imperfections or don't throw a pitch fork at me is the link is changed or the page is in error/doesn't exist.

4. 99.9% of the images that you see on my blog, emails, and web page, are my own. Rarely do I share someone else's images, however if I do, I will do my best to properly credit or sight the creator or original location. Again, I am human, I do make mistakes (although I really do wish I were perfect.)

5. I do not allow for the sales/print/copy of any my own images. If an image is printed alongside of information, like a check list, or questionnaire, I will not take action against the mistake of printing. However, if the person uses my blog/email/web page, for anything other than self inspiration/entertainment, or is attempting to use my information/writing/photos for their own profit, I have the right to take action. I will attempt to clear the air, because again I believe in human error, but if the error is not corrected quickly, I will attempt to take action.

6. I do not claim safety or approve of any downloads from my emails/blogs/web site. If you download content directly linked through me, or through a third party site that may have been linked through me, I am not responsible, and can not be held responsible, for those actions. I do not claim that your devices are safe from malware/virus/spam. You are solely responsible for your own "clicks". Please also see #3

7. The content in the web site/email/blog is strictly opinion of the blogger, not intended to malign any religion, ethnic group, club, organization, company, or individual, that may feel offended by what has been written. It is and should be seen, strictly as an opinion, which is defined by Merriam-Webster Dictionary as: a :  a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I, or the writer/blogger cannot have legal action taken against them because of their opinion.

8. I am only responsible for my views, which as stated in the prior statement, #7, is strictly an opinion, and cannot have action taken against an opinion. I am not responsible for anything other than my own opinion. See Statement #7 & #3

9. THE SAD TRUTH. I shouldn't have to say this but in today's world it is necessary. I am not, and cannot, be held responsible or liable for the comments or remarks made by anything or anyone says on my blog, or photo images. I am not responsible or liable, for anything anyone says on my email/blog/web site, nor the laws which they may break in your country or theirs through their comments’ content, implication, and intent.

10. If I have multiple bloggers, I, nor my business, are responsible or liable for their writing. On the same notion, they as an independent, a human, and a blogger, who has an opinion and may also make mistakes, are covered by all of these disclaimers and disclosures against third parties, links, and 

11. My email/blog/web page has absolutely no intention of doing the reader or follower any harm. Harm is always a subject to interpretation, but these writings done my myself, or any additional writer/blogger is strictly for opinion and advice, not counseling. What I write is not to be taken as fact nor absolute. If a reader use my advice, tips, techniques, and recommendations, and are injured in any manner, I am not to be held responsible.

12. This blog/email/web page may or may not have been created with content with the purpose to generated money or paid for blogging content.

13. TRANSLATION: (I shouldn't have to state this but I want to be sure that all of my grounds are covered.) I and my business are not responsible for translation or interpretation of content. Even the smallest punctuation can change the entire meaning and intent of a statement. My self, My business, and any blogger and/or any email/blog/web site, are harmless from prosecution for bad grammar, translation, and punctuation.

14. COPYRIGHT: This statement does not give the permission to use sell or copy any images captured by Crystal Horton Photography. This statement is strictly for the use of writings done by Crystal Horton Photography or any bloggers. A reader or third party may not copy any writings and use them as profit for themselves, nor may they use my writings to purge or convict myself. These writings may not be used by a third party. It will be seen as plagiarism. A third party may not use these writings to twist my own opinions and words to hurt someone else, or to produce harm to anyone or anything.

15. I am not responsible for defamatory statements bound to government, religion, or other laws from the reader's country or origin. The person that may be held responsible for reading, or opening content seen as illegal by their country or any other law, is the reader themselves. As a photographer, I am not responsible for actions of my readers, before, during or after the reading of my writings or viewing of my images.

16. Financial Responsibility can not be taken against my personal belongings, my home, my property, ect. financial responsibility can not be taken against the business. As stated in Section #3 & #7 this is strictly an opinion and everyone has a legal right to an opinion.

17. In all seriousness, the blogs, emails, and web page, are created for enjoyment and fun. These are here to share experiences, and views, not to be taken in a serious, actual, factual, state of being. I didn't want to be a councilor, or an attorney, I definitely didn't want to ever do anything that would cause anyone harm or pain. I don't mean to offend anyone. In today's world we are all about being right, we always want to be the one who is not wrong. In today's world we want to force someone to seeing our view and get upset when they have a different view. I welcome opinions, that do not lash out and emotionally or physically intend to harm a fellow reader or writer or photographer. This is fun, and strictly used to share experiences of events as were experienced through the eyes of the photographer, bride, groom, writer, or anyone else that may have been involved with a particular experience or event.
